We went to Saratoga Racetrack and lost but when we came to The Bavarian Manor for dinner we won! – Jennie
Hi Suzanne – Great to say hello again to all! - Vi from Eva’s Farm. (Eva’s Farm was a great family resort just down the road. It is closed now but lots of people stop by looking to see where they used to stay. By the way, she looks great!)
We had a lovely stay here at the Bavarian Manor. The food and service were outstanding! Thoroughly enjoyed – Thank you!

Since visiting the BM a few weeks ago, I just had to write you. We visited there … for dinner…..You have a great menu and the food was prepared to perfection. (The beer was excellent too.) I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed such an authentic meal. Keep up the great work. We will be up again as soon as time allows….It was a true pleasure meeting you and learning a bit of history of the Bavarian Manor. “My mother and I just want to thank all of you….for the most wonderful, delicious and relaxing time at the Bavarian Manor. This was our 4th year and it keeps getting better. The room’s decor was quaint and clean…and the lobby looks so nice! We just loved what was done to give the historic setting a bit of a facelift! And then there’s the food…Stan again outdid himself! The Duck was awesome and thanks for the special request of blueberry pancakes, our FAVORITE! We will definitely look fondly at the memory of our stay and look so forward to returning same time next year! Restaurant Review – Mrs. DePoala’s 5th Grade Class
“I went to the Bavarian Manor On October 12th, 2008. It is located in Cairo, NY.. That night I had sauerbraten for the main course. On the sauerbraten there was a delicious gravy sauce. It was very tender, just the way I like it. It was absolutely delicious. For a side dish I had mash potatoes with gravy on it as well. I got a very oddly shapped mash potato. It was round. Also, I had red cabbage. I don’t like red cabbage though. It reminds me of broccoli. Other than that the dinner was perfect.
“The service was magnificent. We had a waitress. She was very polite. She introduced herself and checked up on us just when we needed here. She also made sure we got the right order. She told the chef exactly what we wanted. So everything came out perfect. The waitress we had made our night perfect.
“I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I would because everything we got was great. Like the food, drinks and service. Also you never had to wait long for anything. I would give this restaurant five stars. I would go this restaurant any day!”
